Common questions from naturopaths

  • How does this work with confidentiality and GDPR?

    EazyBooking runs fully GDPR-compliant on an EU server (Frankfurt). A DPA with all the required clauses is available in the admin as a PDF to sign. Sensitive symptom descriptions are encrypted in transit and at rest. You keep your duty of confidentiality — we’re only the technical processor.

  • What if patients want to talk on the phone instead of booking online?

    Phone bookings still work in parallel. Online booking is an additional channel, not a replacement. In practice: 60–70% of bookings shift to online within 8 weeks because it’s faster and available 24/7. The remaining 30% on the phone tend to be advice-heavy first contacts — the higher-quality conversations.

  • Can I run home visits in the same system?

    Yes. Set up a home visit as its own service with a longer duration (e.g. 120 minutes including travel) and optionally a higher deposit. Optional: only enable home-visit slots on specific days (e.g. Wednesdays). Location selection at booking time is optional.

  • How does this work for self-pay vs private health insurance?

    Naturopath treatments are typically self-pay. EazyBooking takes a deposit or full payment online via Stripe Connect, with the remainder or receipt handled on site. For private-insurance reimbursement patients can submit the receipt themselves — we generate PDFs with all the required information.

  • What if I only offer one treatment vs twenty?

    Both work. For a solo acupuncturist 3–5 service entries are enough (initial intake, follow-up acupuncture, etc.). For broader practices with 15–25 treatments the gallery view stays clearly grouped by treatment category.

  • Can I export patient data if I want to leave the system later?

    Yes, any time. There’s a GDPR export button in the admin — CSV with all patient data, appointment history and intake forms as a PDF bundle. We don’t lock you in. Migrating to another system typically takes 2–4 hours of data transfer.

  • How does this work with several practitioners in one practice?

    Up to 5 staff members are included in the base plan — each with their own calendar, their own Apple/Google sync, their own hours and specialisations. At booking time patients can pick a practitioner or take the next available slot. Beyond 5 there’s a staff add-on.

  • Can I use different intake-form templates per treatment?

    Yes. An acupuncture intake asks about pain locations, an osteopathy intake about range of motion, a general initial intake about full history. You assign the matching form per service. The patient fills it in digitally before the booking.

  • What does it cost and what’s included?
